It seems as if it was simply yesterday……………….

and four years have withered away since one of the academic dream of IGIMS was realised first by way of the JIGIMS in Feb 2015 !

Soon enough……………

you are tete-e-tete with the 8th issue !!

Before I begin, I must place on record the dynamism of visionary Prof N R Biswas, our Director who pioneered this idea after rather more than 25 years of its existence !

Well, this is the way science or humanity progresses……….

leaving behind its indelible imprints on the sands of time !!!

As the journey continued………….

the journal too kept on growing in content, acceptance, circulation & presentation. Not only this, it gives me painstaking pleasure to share with you that the journal is now indexed with Index Copernicus !

As far as I can see, the family of IGIMS faculty is growing and so is their contribution to the medicine & ailing humanity. That leads to inescapable conclusion that the journal too, will continue to meaningfully contribute to the understanding of diseases & it's myriad manifestations…….

as you all will keep contributing !!

We all know that there is no full stop on road to excellence & IGIMS fraternity fully believes in the same ….. echoing the same sentiments………………

I wish to conclude with these famous lines -

Woods are lovely, dark & deep !

I have my promises to keep !!

And miles to go, before I sleep !!!
